Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Building a Diverse and Inclusive Workforce

At LSB Industries, we are “all about our people.” With every team member working together as one, we are building a culture of excellence across our organization. It takes the talent, strength, and determination of a diverse and inclusive workforce to achieve our vision of playing a leadership role in the energy transition and only by focusing on our people, can we achieve the goals we’ve set for ourselves. We are committed to attracting, retaining, and developing a more inclusive and talented workforce, while also providing challenging and meaningful work that enables our employees to grow and connect with our purpose, vision, and core values.

Anti-Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation

Creating a workplace free from any form of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation is of utmost importance to us. We believe in fostering an environment where every individual feels safe, respected, and valued. As noted in the company’s Code of Conduct, which all employees review and sign annually, LSB prohibits all forms of discrimination, harassment and retaliation, as well as any other form of inappropriate conduct in the workplace. This prohibition applies to all employees including all levels of leadership and third parties such as vendors and contractors. Discrimination and/or harassment on the basis of race, age, gender, sex, national origin, color, disability, religion, sexual orientation and any other classification is strictly prohibited (see full EEO statement). Retaliation for reporting acts of discrimination, harassment, or other inappropriate conduct is also strictly prohibited.

Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation are in direct conflict with our core values and undermine the very foundation of a healthy and productive work environment. We believe it is our collective responsibility to ensure that every member of the LSB team can perform their duties without fear, discomfort, or intimidation.

Upholding the principles of a harassment-free workplace protects the well-being of our team members and strengthens the fabric of our organization. Together, we are building an inclusive and empowering workplace that is free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Code of Conduct

All employees sign LSB’s Code of Conduct annually and are required to comply with the Employee Handbook. These documents address important governance topics, including our insider trading policy and other compliance policies.

Employee Attraction, Retention, and Development

LSB is building a diverse, respectful, and trusted culture while cultivating a high-performing work environment. This begins with fostering an environment where there is mutual respect across our entire employee base and an appreciation of the differences, unique capabilities, and achievements of every individual. From the Board of Directors and throughout our organization, we discuss the value of diversity because we believe the more diverse our population of employees, the greater our collective problem-solving potential.

We are dedicated to supporting our early career employees and to building a talent pipeline through partnerships with local high schools and colleges. Our robust intern program at El Dorado and co-op program at Cherokee provide college students with real-world experience. Further, these programs provide us with highly qualified candidates who, upon graduation, are familiar with our operations. We also partner with local high schools and technical schools, promoting STEM programs and offering scholarships.
